Conference Terms and Conditions
Registration Terms and Conditions for the Participants of the ZOO Design Conference 2019 organized by MCC Consulting Sp. z o.o.
- 1. General provisions
1.1. The ZOO Design Conference of MCC Consulting Sp. z o.o., referred to as the ”Conference” takes place at 22-24 May 2019 Wrocław Poland, referred to as the “Organizer”.
1.2. The Organizer of the Conference is MCC Consulting Sp. z o.o. in Żyrardów(ul. Jeżynowa 7, 96-300 Żyrardów, Poland).
1.3. The provisions of these Terms and Conditions constitute an integral part of Conference Participation Enrolment and are applicable to all Participants.
1.4. The official website of the Conference is the following: www.zoodesignconference.com.
- 2. Participation in the Conference
2.1. Conditions of the Conference Participation are the following:
2.1.1. Conference Participation Enrolment in possible by filling out an enrolment form available at the Conference website or personally at the conference reception during the Conference and
2.1.2. Making payment in amount and at the time indicated by the Organizer.
2.2. The fee for the Conference Participation should be paid to the account indicated by the Organizer in accordance with the information received. Information on fees is available also at the conference website at the following address: www.zoodesignconference.com.
2.3. The Organizer shall issue a VAT invoice for the fees paid.
2.4. A Participant is a person, who is participating in the educational and didactic session, educational session, and till the date indicated by the Organizer enrolls in the participation at the Conference websitewww.zoodesignconference.com, and pays a Conference fee by bank transfer or Credit Card
2.5. The cost of the participation, stay and transport shall be covered by the Participant.
2.6. The deadline for sending the enrolment forms through the Conference websitewww.zoodesignconference.comis set on the date 31 January 2019. Registration after this date shall be possible only in the Organizers’ Office personally at the Conference reception during the Conference, depending on the availability of places.
- 3. Resignation from the Conference Participation
3.1. The Participant may resign from the Conference Participation. The Resignation should have a written form.
3.2. In case a Participant resigns from the Conference Participation:
a) When the Organizer receives the Resignation declaration up to 30 November 2018, the Organizer shall return the Participant the fee paid, under the condition of previous receiving the conference fee;
b) When the Organizer receives the Resignation declaration between the 01 December 2018 – 31 January 2019, the Organizer has the right to keep a compensation of 50% of the whole payment, under the condition of previous receiving the conference fee;
c) When the Organizer receives the Resignation declaration after the 31 January 2019, the Organizer has the right to keep the whole payment received.
- 4. Fees
4.1. Conference Participation fees are given at the Conference websitewww.zoodesignconference.com.
4.2. The payer (invoice recipient) is the subject ordering particular services associated with Conference Participation.
4.3. Conference fee not paid in time specified by the Organizer at the Conference website, entitles the Organizer to cancel the enrolment without any liability for damages.
- 5. Complaints
5.1. Any complaints from the Conference Participants to the Organizer should be reported in a written form by a registered letter with advice of delivery to the head office of the Organizer.
5.2. Complaints made by the Conference Participants can be reported not later than 3 days from the end of the Conference in written form.
5.3. After the due date, no complaints shall be investigated.
- 6. Final provisions
6.1. If the Conference does not take place due to reasons dependent solely on the Organizer, the Organizer shall immediately return the fees paid by the Participants to the indicated bank accounts.
6.2. If the Conference does not take place due to reasons not dependent on the Organizer, the so-called force majeure (e.g. flood, hurricane, snowstorm, etc.), the Participant is not entitled to claim damages or return of any fees associated with the Conference Participation, nor the costs of additional services commissioned to the Organizer by the Conference Participants.
6.3. Any disputes, which may arise from the participation in the Conference, shall be settled by the court relevant to the main office of the Organizer.
6.4. Sending the enrolment form available at the Conference website means agreeing to the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, and also to observe the do’s and don’ts and all other arrangements made between the Participant and the Organizer.
6.5. To all matters not settled herein, provisions of the Civil Code shall apply.
6.6. In accordance with the Act on Personal Data Protection of 29 August 1997 (Journal of Laws 133/ 29 October 1997, item 833) the Organizer shall not pass on, sell, or lend the personal data of Participants collected on its database to third parties (persons or institutions). Personal data given by the Participant constitute confidential information and is used solely for communication between the Participant and the Organizer. The Conference is closed and is not a mass event as provided for the Act on Mass Events Safety of 23 March 2009 (Journal of Laws 62/2009, item. 504).
6.7. The Organizer is not responsible for Participants’ things which may be lost, damaged or stolen during the Conference.
6.8. Participants have full material liability for damage done by them both on the premises of the facilities where any Conference activities are conducted and in places of Participants’ accommodation.
6.9. These Terms and Conditions come into effect on the date of their posting at the websitewww.zoodesignconference.com.
6.10. The Organizer has the right to change the provisions of the Terms and Conditions. Changes come into effect not later than 7 days from their posting at the website www.zoodesignconference.com.
